This was SYFER's working title (until it was officially changed to LAB) and it was named this due to the storyline (so changing the name to LAB still followed the principle of relating to the storyline).
Treatment
This is Team SYFER's treatment for our film trailer. It contains our working title which is Detention which has due to copyright reasons been changed to LAB. It also displays our tag line "Detention! Bite me". It displays our key scenes to be seen throughout the trailer and this is linked to the story line. It displays our sub-genre which is zombie. The equilibrium, disequilibrium and the resolution which is the normal situation, the problem caused and how it is resolved. The theme of our trailer (survival) is displayed and uniquely our storyline starts the infection in the college and it is contained within the college. It shows our target audience, what age group specifically it is aimed at. It shows the research and planning put into the trailer, and finally it shows the characters and their personalities.
Synopsis
This is our synopsis and we devised this through the use of planning the story (due to Caleb and Michael combining ideas) and trying to meet the conventions & follow stereotypes. This briefly breaks down the story line and the plot of our film.
Characters
The characters are following the conventions of the princess (damsel in distress), the helper, the protagonist (the good guy/ hero), the false hero (the person who thinks they are the hero but they are the ones that die from bold actions a lot of the time), and our antagonists are the zombies.
Antagonist Character Design
The zombie type was researched and incorporated into our trailer and helped us design the ideal antagonist. The most tension building zombie was constructed and this was due to the research on the preferred antagonist.
Equilibrium, Disequilibrium and Resolotion
This picture shows our narrative structure, our theme, what influenced us and our target audience.
The equilibrium is a normal day at college, with teenagers walking and talking attending lessons.
The disequilibrium is the rebel students breaking into the lab and playing with the chemical spilling it onto the plant and causing a chemical reaction.
The resolution is the zombies are killed by survivors in the college. The zombie virus starts inside the college and finishes inside the college.

Key Scenes
Our key scenes shows the most vital scenes in our film which cause the disequilibrium and how order is restored, and this went towards helping to construct our trailer. An example of an important scenes in our trailer is the scene where the rebel students break into the class room and break the laboratory vial containing the a chemical which came into contact with the plant causing the zombie outbreak (disequilibrium).
